It really is the ideal blend of Japanese culture, nature and perfect relaxation. The staff are super lovely, and can speak english pretty well. I was thinking 8am Romancecar from Shinjuku to Hakone-Yumoto, and then leaving 6pm to return to Shinjuku. Omiya Ryokan is located in the Hakone Yumoto Onsen Area, a 10-minute drive from the Hakone Yumoto Station. They went above and beyond to help us with anything that we needed help on. The very best of this beguiling region can be condensed into a well-planned South Island road trip. Located near Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hotel Nanpuso is a great choice for a convenient onsen getaway for visitors arriving from Tokyo.

Although we initially thought the hour might be too short we found it was the perfect amount of time to complete the ritual process, be thoroughly relaxed and dress again without being rushed or stressed.There are also communal baths at Hakone Yuryo.
Very nice people and very helpfull.I went to Hakone so several times but this time is the best place. The expansive open-air onsen with infinity edge is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the mountains, while the 5th-floor hot spring features a cascading waterfall. and the bus stop for the return ride to Odawara station is literally 5 feet away from the base of the hotel. Admittedly, it might be some time before responsible for international travel is back on the cards. These cosy accommodations also feature tatami mats, Japanese-inspired futons and private balconies. We booked a ‘type 3’ room which was a bit of a splurge at Y6000 but we were very happy with our choice and highly recommend the relaxing experience of a private room as a couple or family.
Hakone is only one onsen region in Japan but being located on the train line between Tokyo and Kyoto it couldn't be more conveniently situated.
